Hello I'm Julia. I'm a Brisbane-based tutor and I've been playing piano for over 30 years. I moved to Brisbane in 2010 to attend QUT and completed both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Fine Arts degree. In that time I developed a passion for a wide range of musical disciplines including performance, composition, improvisation, song-writing, production and of course teaching.

In my 15 years of teaching experience I've learned that no two people learn the same way and it's my job to adapt to each individual. I've worked with children under five through to adults in their 70's and I firmly believe there is no such thing as too soon, too late or too difficult. Piano is for everyone and regardless of what you're looking to gain, whether it just be learning your favourite song, learning to write your own, coming back to piano or starting fresh, I would love to help you set and reach your goals.
